Michelle SM discovered her passion for the Arts at a very young age.  Painting, reading poems, telling stories and her continuous creativity enticed her to write stories, songs, sing and learn to play the piano,  her favorite instrument.

Michelle became very successful in her educational endeavors, she was successful in taking many acting and singing classes, which awarded her an Associate degree in Arts and Sciences. Michelle decided to continue her education and obtained a Bachelors of Arts in Sociology and Criminal Justice. Recently, Michelle graduated again, from the California State University of Bakersfield, with a Master of Arts. 

 

Michelle's influences in the Music/Entertainment Industry are vast.  Michelle enjoys films and stories form Directos like: Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and writers like Woody Allen, Billy Wilder and James Cameron.   Michelle's loves music from different genres and super stars like John Lennon, Marvin Gay, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, to mention a few.  In addition, Michelle comes from a very artistic family;  her father as a young man,  had fun singing regularly with a mariachi that used to play at the Tenampa Palenque in Mexico city.  Michelle's father still enjoys music and plays the guitar at his local church. Michelle's brother Efrain, is also a talented artist.  Efrain has created an extensive portfolio of unique paintings and drawings. Michelle is fortunate to continue to work with other talented and well-known music producers like and her brother in law, Kenneth McCloud a successful producer who obtained triple platinum sales with companies and artists like The Row Records, Ruthless Records, Tupac, EZ-E, Bone thugs & harmony and Jenny Rivera. Michelle has worked with different music  prouducers like Toby Sandoval multiple Grammy award winner, and Diego Rivera producer, orchestrator and arranger from Peru, to name a few.

 

FILM INDUSTRY   

Another of Michelle's passions is to work in films. Michelle is currently a Script Supervisor and Film Coordinator/Film Supervisor. Michelle has gained a tremendous amount of experience working in the film industry and is very proud to have worked with talented Film Directors like Sam Felman, Michael Matteo Rossi, Diane Lansing among others. Michelle has also worked with actors/actresses like Oma Nnadi, Elester Latham, Ayla Kell, Bojesse Christopher and

SELF-EMPLOYED /CONTRACTOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER

As a Graduate and Professional, Michelle truly enjoyed working in the Educational Sector helping students in music, art, History and theater classes. Michelle transitioned from working directly with students to working with IEP team members and parents as a Contractor/Service Provider/IEP team member for a large School District in charge  of more than 15 large public High Schools.  Michelle services all the previously mentioned schools and utilizes her experience of many years of dedicated work in the Educational sector, in addition to her academic achievements from the University she attended and where she received a Bachelors and a Master of Arts.  In the present time, Michelle is very happy to continue to be of service to her School District and parents, in their communication and planning of their student's future after leaving High School.
In accord with other IEP team members, Michelle ensures effective communication of the interests, preferences, and rights of students and parents communicating in English & Spanish their IEP process and terms of student's eligibility during IEP meetings. Michelle helps the parents during the IEP process making sure their ideas, concerns, and views are expressed and heard. 
Despite all her achievements, Michelle truly enjoys all her occupations which involve helping others, as well as her music, film, and writing songs from the heart careers.  Michelle hopes one day to make her dream come true of having her songs recorded by prominent artists, but most importantly, Michelle truly believes  the greatest satisfaction comes from being of service to others and sharing her musical talent.
